About this Component AI Text Shimmer renders a repeating gradient sweep across any text making it the go-to choice for AI response placeholders, skeleton loading states, and any UI moment where content is being fetched or generated. It drops straight into your Framer project and every visual property is editable directly from the right panel. No code required after install. How to Use Install : Copy the component URL from the Framer Marketplace and paste it into your project via Assets → Import Place it : Drag AITextShimmer onto your canvas like any native Framer component Set your text : Type directly into the Text field in the right panel. The text area supports multi-line input Pick your colors : Set Base Color to your resting text color and Shimmer Color to the highlight that sweeps across it Choose a font : Select from the preset font families or choose Custom and enter any font already loaded on your site Set the speed : Adjust Duration (in seconds) to control how fast the shimmer cycles. 1.5–2.5s works best for most use cases Set the layout : Choose Fixed to set an exact pixel width, or Fill Container to stretch to the parent frame automatically Preview : The animation is intentionally paused in the Framer editor.
