Description
DESCRIPTION Atmospheric shooting-comet overlay — canvas layer covering its parent frame; a white-hot core with a soft radial plasma tail streaks across at a rate you set, with entry flare, shed sparks, flicker, and a depth mode that flies it into or out of the page. Ships on a white-blue plasma palette at just under a second between comets, so the sky is never empty. Frequency/randomness/max-at-once, size, tail length & fill (gradient/solid/radial), speed, direction/spread/arc, core/glow/tail colors, glow power, always-on-top. Pointer events pass through; sleeps between appearances. INSPECTOR CONTROLS • Appearance rate: Every (seconds between comets), Randomness, Max at once • Comet body: Comet size, Tail length, Tail fill (gradient / solid / radial) • Motion: Speed, Direction, Spread, Arc • Depth: Depth mode (into / out of the page) with Depth amount • Color: Core, Glow, Tail, Glow power • Detail: Flicker, Sparks + Spark amount, Entry flare • Placement: In view only, Keep off edges, Cover parent, Always on top, Background • Meteor shower: Meteor shower toggle with Comets per volley, Volley stagger and Radiant spread — members share one radiant and fan near-parallel, and only one volley runs at a time so a shower reads as a single event • Scroll-in: On scroll-in — Fire once / Fire every time / Off; guarantees an appearance when the section enters view, and genuinely suppresses one when set to Off
