Description

Cursor Reveal turns any line of text into an interactive spotlight. The text rests dim by default. As the cursor moves over it, a soft radial mask reveals a brighter copy underneath and follows the pointer with smooth, adjustable easing. A drop-shadow glow is generated from the revealed text and painted on an unmasked layer, so it blooms naturally beyond the glyphs — never clipped to the font's bounding box (the detail most cursor-glow effects get wrong). It's inline, sizes to its own content, and drops into any heading, hero, or footer signature. Every part is a control — no code required. Controls - Text, Font Family, Weight, Size, Tracking — full type control; pairs beautifully with serifs like Instrument Serif - Dim / Bright — the resting color and the revealed color - Reveal Size — radius of the spotlight - Follow — how tightly the light trails the cursor (snappy → floaty) - Glow + Strength — toggle the bloom and dial its intensity Works in light or dark, respects static rendering, and is built for performance (RAF-driven, GPU-friendly transforms).
