Description

About Chess Game brings the ultimate game of strategy directly into your Framer projects. Drop it into a hero section, a 404 page, or a dedicated "Play" area to give your visitors a reason to stay longer. With a built-in AI opponent and mobile-responsive design, it provides a seamless gaming experience without leaving your site. What it does It renders a logic-based 8×8 chessboard that handles legal move generation, move hints, and game states like check, checkmate, and stalemate. Users can play locally against a friend or challenge the AI with adjustable difficulty. The component tracks scores, captures pieces in real-time, and includes interactive features like timers, sound effects, and a customizable settings menu. What you can customize Game Logic: Choose between 2-Player or Vs AI modes. Set AI response delay, difficulty levels (Easy/Medium/Hard), and toggle game timers or sound effects. Board & Visuals: Fully customize the colors for light/dark squares, borders, selected pieces, and move hints. You can even toggle board coordinates and flip the board orientation. Typography & Styling: Complete control over fonts and colors for the Header, Coordinates, Scoreboard, and Captured pieces. Choose between "Unicode" or "Letter" styles for the chess pieces. UI Elements: Toggle the visibility of the Header, Score, Level, and Captured pieces sections. Customize every label text (e.g., "Reset Score", "Game Options") to fit your language or tone. Great for 404 / Empty states (interactive distractions) Personal portfolios and "About Me" pages Interactive dashboards Landing pages for apps or events "Just for fun" sections to increase time-on-site Share your build If you ship something cool with it, post it on X and tag me @Dulajweb, or send it over.
