Summary

Password Morph is a password field with a small moment of magic.

Description

Password Morph is a password field with a small moment of magic. Each character you type shows for an instant, crumbles into dust, and leaves a dot behind, just like a regular password field, only far more satisfying. It's a real password input underneath, so browsers, autofill and password managers work as usual. The dust follows your caret, erodes each character from left to right, and drifts away on its own, even while the page scrolls. Everything is adjustable from the properties panel: Field: placeholder, name, required, autofill mode Style: font, fill, border, focus color, radius, padding Colors: separate text, dot, dust and placeholder colors Dots: size of the dot left behind each character Timing: reveal time, crumble speed, drift duration Dust: direction, spread, speed and grain size Privacy: flash the typed character, or crumble a dot so the password is never shown Built for performance: particles run on a single canvas that only animates while you type, and fast pastes are capped so nothing stalls. Visitors who have reduced motion turned on get plain dots with no animation.
