Pixel Trail hides your image behind a solid color and reveals it in chunky pixel blocks wherever the cursor moves. The trail slowly melts away, and a built-in intro sweep plays on load — so visitors instantly know the poster is interactive. Everything is controlled from the properties panel: image, background fill and color, two block colors, pixel grid density (8–48), brush radius, fade speed, zoom, and a one-click B&W filter with tuned contrast. Switch the background off to overlay the effect on your own layout. A designed static trail renders on the canvas and in thumbnails, so the component never looks like a blank square. One lightweight canvas element — no libraries, no video, touch-friendly. Perfect for musician pages, portfolio covers, speaker reveals and editorial heroes.
