This component is a fully functional weather widget styled to look like a classic handheld gaming device. The component offers extensive controls to tailor its appearance and functionality, all manageable within the Framer properties panel. 8-Bit Weather Showcase Weather Data & Location: Default City: Enter a city name to display its weather. The component will search for and use weather data for this location. Update Frequency: Set how often the component refreshes its weather data in minutes. Display & Device Style: Display Theme: Choose from a variety of retro color palettes for the screen, including "Classic Green" , "Amber LCD" , "Blue LCD" , and "Red LED" . Device Color Change: Select the color of the device's body from Green , Amber , Blue , or Red . Pixel Size: Adjust the size of the individual pixels to make the text and sprites appear more chunky or more refined. Show Scanlines: A boolean toggle to add or remove the authentic CRT scanline effect on the display. Show Details: A boolean toggle to show or hide extra weather information like humidity and wind speed. It displays real-time weather data for a specific city in a charming, pixelated format. The design features a nostalgic boot-up sequence and a main screen that shows the current weather (with an animated pixel art sprite and temperature). The component also includes interactive elements and a configurable look and feel.
