Firstlight is a free Framer template for independent restaurants — the kind whose menu changes with the morning market. It treats the daily card as content: tonight's dishes, your growers, the room's story, and the reservation flow all live in the CMS, so you update the site without rebuilding the layout. Four pages come ready — Home, Menu, Story, and Reserve — plus a 404, a Start Here guide, and a Design System page documenting the color tokens and text styles. One shared layout (masthead + footer) drives every page, and eight CMS collections cover menu items by course, producers with coordinates, signature dishes, house values, a founding timeline, press quotes, seatings, and FAQs. To make it yours: edit the CMS records, recolor from the centralized color tokens, restyle from the role-named text presets, and change the shared shell once. Motion is built in — word-by-word headline reveals, scroll-settling photography, a marquee of the morning's ingredients, a scroll-drawn "day in the kitchen," and a custom ember cursor. It adapts from wide desktop down to phone. Fonts are Fraunces, Space Grotesk, and Space Mono, all free via Google Fonts.
